Become Acquainted with Leisa Anslinger

Leisa Anslinger brings extensive experience in parishes and schools to her ministry as an author and  speaker.  She is the Director of Growing Up Catholic, and the author and editor of Grace in Action. Leisa acts as a stewardship consultant for Our Sunday Visitor; she develops and provides materials and presentations on stewardship, strengths, and engagement to dioceses, parishes, schools, religious orders, and organizations. Leisa has been a contributor to the University of Dayton's Virtual Learning Community for Lifelong Faith Formation, Celebrating the Lectionary, and Ministry and Liturgy magazine. She is a frequent presenter at national and diocesan gatherings on topics ranging from lifelong faith formation and pastoral leadership to collaborative ministry and stewardship. Leisa holds degrees from St. Mary-of-the-Woods college, Purdue University, and the Athenaeum of Ohio and has been an adjunct faculty member at the Athenaeum. Leisa served for eleven years as the Director of Guidance at Archbishop McNicholas High School and for twelve years as the Pastoral Associate for Evangelization, Catechesis and Stewardship at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, both in Cincinnati. She is the author of Here Comes Everybody! Whole Community Catechesis in the Parish and co-author of Desires of the Heart, Forming Generous Hearts: Stewardship Planning for Lifelong Faith Formation, and Great Expectations: A pastoral guide for partnering with parents, all published by Twenty-Third Publications.  Leisa and her husband Steve live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their son Michael now resides in Denver, CO, and their daughter Carrie is a student at Purdue University.
